Even when that is possible, there's no guarantee Verizon will launch such a service. Video calling has turned out to be a very over-hyped and under-used service on 3G networks in Asia and Europe. It's not clear there is sufficient demand for video calling.

LOL, youre telling me. Apparently video calling fell flat in Hong Kong and some other parts of Asia in part because wealthy businessmen didnt want to have their wives calling them up at night and seeing them out in a bar with their mistresses.
And of course women dont like video calling because they feel they have to be made up and looking 100% all of the time. Too much hassle.
Dont really understand how all the hype about vid calli...
