E815 or V710
I really like both of these phones. But I'm no expert on cell technology here. When I checked the modes, I see where the v710 has AMPS850 and the E815 does not. What effect does this have on coverage? I travel the U.S., a lot of which is in US Cellular areas and many remote other remote areas. Any comments on how the E815 lacking feature can affect coverage?
Thanks for the help!

THe amps is analog, if you travel go with the 710, it will work in the more remote areas

If you are on USCC's towers a lot, you might want to look at USCC for service, they have a national plan and depending on how you use your phone, USCC might have a better plan for you. It will depend on how much you are on USCC's towers, because while you are on USCC's towers, you get unlimited incoming calls, nights and weekends start at 7. Just something to look at. When you are outside the USCC area, you use anytime minutes only, and they have a 50% rule, so that is the downside to USCC. If I did not travel, I would be on USCC in a heartbeat, but, I cant have everything.
I am a verizon customer, I have tried USCC, and both have good service, USCC is a good company and is better then verizon in promo's if you dont travel a lot, look...

Yeah...I live in USCC territory. But only about 10% of my calls are made there. When I'm home that phone stays somewhere I can't find it! Being that I travel for a living, that is why I am looking at Verizon. Plus the deals I get through my employer beat anything any of the other carriers can come up with!
You are right though...USCC does have some great deals. Everytime I go to the hardware store at home, I see their latest banner hanging up. Plus, they are one of my clients and just like their people overall.
Thanks!
