How to switch Verizon sellers in 15 day period?
my situation:
a week ago I switched from Sprint to Verizon and bought two e815 phones ($100 ea) at CircuitCity for a shared plan. I also moved over my phone #s.
Now, after a week, I figured that I don't like my e815 so much and rather want a treo 650. But CircuitCity is really expensive ($399), so I looked on the web and found younevercall.com with a treo for $199 and an e815 for free with new activation.
How can I best undo my circuitcity sale and get the phone deal from younevercall.com and still keep my phone#s?
All my stuff is in returnable condition, so I could cancel the entire CircuitCity-Verizon transaction within the 15 day period and start fresh at younevercall.com. But I'm not sure what would happen to my phone #s...

Be careful of online resellers. The price you think you're getting is often not the one you will get.
Is there any other way, like keep my numbers Without a plan?
Also, what is your specific concern with online resellers?
Thanks,

Online resellers will advertise a price that is after a rebate you don't get for 6 months. That's not made very clear at any point. Also, if you need to return it, good luck. At least try buying the phone from a real life indirect agent. Even then the small amount of money saved is often not worth it.
They also sell phones that are not directly distributed from VZW and that means any problem you have with your handset you can not just go into your local VZW store for help. So please avoid online resellers at all cost, even if it means you have to spend a little mor...

Double ETFs and no trial periods: You get the phone with a 2yr contract from the service provider and $200 ETF. The seller (www.whoever) gives you a 180 day dealie with $150 ETF to cover the discount you received on the phone....
I would still go thru an agent or my personal choice a corporate store. AT corporate stores, or direct with verizon, at least when you call in with phone issues, they are willing to help you more, anywhere else, they tell you to talk to them, and usually even on phone problems. And if that paticular agent has the ETF of their own on top of Verizon's, well, that is a deal breaker from the beginning in my books. And Yes, I understand why agents do this, but, so what, I as a customer will go with the source that only requires 1 ETF, there are issues that can and do come up after the 1...
