IS IT TRUE WHAT I HEARD ABOUT VERIZON NOT SELLING NOKIA PHONES ANYMORE??
ANY FEEDBACK??, IF THIS IS TRUE I WOULD HATE TO GO AND BUY AN LG PHONE I DO NOT REALLY CARE ABOUT CAMERA AND ALL THOSE GOODIES, WHAT I REALLY CARE IS ABOUT RECEPTION, EVEN THOUGH VERIZON HAS THE BEST COVERAGE AMONG ANY CARRIER,, A GOOD NOKIA PHONE WILL BE BEST ON RECEPTION

Well, let me first say that I am honestly and sincerely happy that you get good repeption on your Nokia phones.

With that said, Nokia phines have notourisly had bad reception with CDMA carriers to to the fact that they make their own CDMA chipset where as with all the other CDMA phones Qualcom makes the chipset.

I have had a terrible experience with buyers buying Nokias and trying to get reception in bad areas, where as Samsungs, LGs and Motorolas are usually the best, dont get me wrong, nokia makes a good quality phone with a user freindly menu, its just thatwith Verizon the reception isnt worth a hoot.

well in response to your post, let me tell you that I live close to the border with mexico, when I travel overthere, I always take my nokia phone, and let me tell you something my friends have lg phones, samsung and one other friend has a motorola v710, in fact when I am overthere I can place calls on more places than they do, sometimes I even go as far as the airport across the border and my nokia phone still has signal and is able to place phone calls, where my friends do not get any signal at all as far as the airport is located.

I DON'T KNOW I HAVE NEVER HAD A BAD EXPERIENCE WITH ANY CDMA NOKIA PHONE, I THINK NOKIAS ARE DIFERENT BECAUSE OF THE QUALCOMM CHIPSETS YOU MENTION

That certainly used to be the case a few years ago, but newer Nokia CDMA phones - like in the last 1-2 years - have generally been praised for excellent reception. Nokia has made great strides with it CDMA chipsets since the early days.
