A970 release date/ring tones

Does anyone here know of the actual release date or time frame from now when this phone will be released? Also does anyone know if this phone will have the ability to create you're own ring tones? 😁

From everything I have read on Phonescoop and Howard Forums - no one knows for sure - but I have heard dates quoted from August 15 to October 1. I am waiting impatiently for this phone as well.
