I'm in the process of getting a job at one of the call centers. Can anyone go into detail about the discount on phones and plans and give me a rough idea of what a phone would cost me and how often can i buy a new one? I also have a personal account with Verizon are they able to apply a discount to that I do I need to set up a demo line with them? Can they also tranfer my personal account to a demo line? I would appreciate any answers to these questions. Thanks in advance.

There are discounted rate plans. They're about 60% off regular price.

You get the 2 year agreement price on the phones.

You can convert your consumer line if you're at least 6 months into your contract no matter what length it is.

You can have 4 lines and they can be upgraded every 10 months.

Thanks, how about accessories? Are you able to just go to a store and set it up or do I have to go through the call center itself? Do they have the phones on hand or do they have to order them. What if I just renewed my contract do I have to wait another 6 months? Do they just waive the termination fee? And can you port a number from Alltel for instance?
Thanks again

One last thing, can I change my calling plan whenever? And are there any discounts on added features like txt and MW and downloads. Hope I'm not asking to many questions. Thanks

If you just renewed, you have to wait 6 months to convert that line. You could drop it to the 34.99 AMC2 plan though.

Everything to do with your service is handled via an internal webpage. It takes a while for things to happen but you get a very good deal.

They'll cover the employee phone plan on the first or second day. Everyone will be asking about it so you'll find out soon enough. I'll just leave it at... It's a VERY good deal.
