vzw store cable for transfering contacts and pics from one phone to another
My local VZW store has stated that they can not exchange the pics stored on my 8100 to the e815. In fact they could not efficiently exchange even the contacts. They said it is very slow and often does not work.
What are other store managers experiencing? Can the pics be exchanged. I was told a cable for this purpose is not made.

That is correct. There is no cable made to transfer pictures, ringtones, etc. The only option is to send the pictures to your computer and then back to the new phone. Yes, there will be picture messaging charges.

Texasboy..I know your worng on this one.As long as u have the right drivers and software,(bitpim)i didnt say that u can transfer ringtones,and pics for no additional charge.And if your smart enough u can get ring tones free from gin free. 😎

There is not a cable to do this. I have heard that our VZW stores will be receiving a device with this capability soon. Our cables are strictly for phonebook transfers.
