Moto 815 or LG 8100??
Hi All, My NE2 is due and I'm looking at either of these two phones. I've read the reviews and had a chance to play w/the LG (sadly the moto in store and kiosk were dummies, what is up with that??).
I have an LG vx6000 right now and really love my phone, this is the first time I've had a phone for two years! So, of course my head leans toward LG based on my experience. I also know moto to be a good company, good products, etc., and am looking for just a little more input.
Anybody have one of these and return it w/in the 15 days? Any chance of me getting my BREW apps from old phone to new phone or am I SOL on that? I have a couple games I paid for and would like to retain them. I know VZW will do the phone book transfer for $10, ...

Ok... Apps will not be transferred between phones, sorry about that one. If you have a subscription, you'll want to cancel it before changing phones to make sure you don't get charged for something you're not able to use.

Both phones have had their share of issues and have a loyal following. I know it's a lot to go through, but check the forums for each as well as the user reviews section. I know people who own both and swear by them (on both sides).

Hello, thanks for that info ... any idea on makes and/or models that are coming near release? Something worth waiting for perhaps?
I'm so pissed that I'll have to buy my silly little games again, that's ridiculous, I mean if I buy software and then buy a new computer it's getting put on the new computer. The Bitpim and GAGIN don't even allow for app transfers, eh? That sucks. I understand it's to defeat piracy but it still sucks. I think, just for the heck of it, when I do this upgrade I'm going to ask in store and see if I can't prove that I delete the app from one phone and d/l it to the new phone maybe they'll give me credit for it? Who knows, doesn't hurt to ask I suppose. I don't have anything on subscription.
