Verizon Wireless identified a flaw in its online billing system which enabled customers to view other customers' account information. There was no indication that anyone took advantage of the glitch or that any customer financial information was disclosed. The flaws didn't enable access to phone numbers associated with customer's incoming and outgoing calls. Verizon Wireless glitch with online billing system resolved
Verizon Wireless suffered a glitch in its online bill-paying service that allowed some subscribers to see details on other subscribers. Verizon spokesman Tom Pica said the carrier learned of the problem earlier this week and had it fixed by Thursday. "There's some minor issues, and we corrected it quickly," Pica said.
