👿 👿 👿 👿 👿 👿 👿

I was viewing through these fourms. I came across a guy with a 710 issue, this is what i told him. Thought I would share it so you all know!

It doesnt matter how many time u switch it out. you wont get a better phone! I have the 710 never had ne major issues like yours. I always question customers with issues, with so many exchanges if the prob is them! not the phone! I get sick of theses customers with Treo 600 that want the 650 (which isnt much better then the 600) so they keep on making up issues and messing the software up on purpose to get the 650. I got news for you, for the most part your wasting your time and mine. just remember each time you call in it costs us about $7.00. U want more for your money stop trying to get free stuff. Only call with real probs.

You opened up a new thread to show everyone your ignorant comment that you made to a customer in a nother thread. Dude get a f'n life. I read the comment in the other forum you dont need to open a meaningless thread to show off your ignorance. f'n panzy. Better yet why dont you go work for Cingular I hear there always looking for top notch reps like yourself.

VZW WORKER here does not go without a valide point, maybe a little more emotional than neccessary but the truth is, many times customers begin to make up problems with their phones just to get a new model. Prime example, I had a customer the other day who had a A670 that we swapped waiving the FRU FEE because of physical damage, but hey, good customer let's help him out. Comes back in saying the same exact thing is wrong, people can't hear him sometimes and sometimes they can. I love the intermittent problems customers have that can't be replicated in the technical department. So we just swap it again...comes back, same problem... it's not reception in the area cause all managers are using that phone in the area and it works just fine. So n...

I am an indirect that suffers that same issue. Thanks for pointing this out! We spend countless minutes with Cust Care doing this same thing. We tell them that they may get the $200 fee for their old phone not having any issues. They say things like "I didn't do anything wrong and this phone sucks" when you know that they have torn up the phone to just above not working and they want something free. Just like they holler about paying the $10 freight charge to get the new phone! Cracks me up how much they complain about not having the phone and how easy they can wait for the FRU.

LOL!!

True on the being nice is the real way to get something done.

But I again wonder about the issue with the V710. I manage the store I work in and have a 710...never ONE issue. One of my employees has this phone...never ONE issue. Another store manager (same chain) has this phone...no problems. The owner of the whole company has this phone...no problems. I have sold about a dozen of my friends this phone...not one problem.

Why do I hear about this phone being problematic?

In fact, I get reception where I didn't with my Audiovox 8900. Also one of my friends laughes at his buddy that went and bought the VX8100 and he can make/recieve calls in his living room with his 710. His buddy has to walk out onto the front porch to make a...

I carried the 710 for awhile and then sold it and bought a 8100 Oh, how I miss my phone I only have ever had one complaint about Moto's. The same thing everybody says THE CHARGING PORTS SUCK! I had a customer tell me the other day that his daughter 8910 took clearer pix than his 710.But once I whiped the dirt off the lense it was amazing once again!!

In low lighting the V710 doesn't do very well for a picture. But I have a Canon S2 for my pictures!

As far as the charge port. Even on the newer Nextel line-up of phones Moto went to a different charger. Why can't they use that one for the VZW phones? Much more secure in locking. Once again, I think the problem is that people talk with it on the charger and stretch the cord to do so. This in turn stresses the Charge port soldering connection with the ciruitboard. Also, a little cleaning of the port seems to fix alot too...
