The answers is YES!
Now, I really don't know the answer to your first question ☹️ I'll let somebody fill you in on that one. I haven't been following VZW phones for almost 2 months

To answer your first question the only other phone that I know about that will have bluetooth and vcast will be the Samsung a970. That phone is due to come out on September 2. It has a 2MP camera with an optical zoom, mp3 player and other stuff to warrant the suppossed $300 price on a 2 yr contract.

1) your headset will work
2)Mot E815, LG VX8100, and available Late 3rd/early 4th, the Samsung 890.

Deciding between those will be nearly impossible to do without putting them in your hand. All 3 are good phones from good companies. Some people prefer LG to Mot, or Mot to LG, or Chocolate and Vanilla.

The only real difference, in my mind, is whether you do Text messaging a lot or not. the LG lets you read a msg without opening the phone on it's outside screen / controls. That's pretty slick.
