Looking for a good carrier....
Hey everyone! I am desperately looking to get away from Sprint! The only things I like about Sprint are their cellphones & their Ready Link service. I was looking at Verizon, Nextel, & Cingular. I was wondering which one of these offer the best Service and features. I am looking for PTT service, Early nights, and mobile to mobile. Most important is the ability to make phone calls!! I hear Verizon is reliable so I wanted someone to help "sell" me on their service. I will post this in the other forums to see what everyone says. The reason I wanted to post it here is because I see there are a lot of cellular employees posting in here. Thanks for your time. 😁

vz probly isnt for you, their nights start at 9 pm, and hoonestly their ptt isnt as good as nextels if thats important to you.

Another employee can add more!!! Even though our ppt may not be up to Nextel you said it was being able to make calls that was most important! VZW has always had the highest success rate for completed calls and lowest for dropped and circuits busy calls. I quess what you have to ask yourself is : What is most important to you?

I had Sprint for over 4 years. I hated their coverage and customer service. The only reason we kept them so long was this great low minute promo plan we were on at the time. After getting screwed by Sprint trying to get more minutes and a family share plan, we switched to Verizon in February and that was the best move ever made. I got a Motorola V710 and in 6 months, only dropped 1 call, and it was in area no other phones had service at all. Coverage crushes Sprint's and customer service is great. If you ever have a problem with your phone, or service they're more than willing to help you. I don't know what everyone else on here is talking about.
