Tracy Martin - Question for Verizon Reps
What up Verizon Reps:
Question, for the past year or so we have been getting a call from this lady who claims her name is Tracy Martin who works in the Cranberry Woods call center in tech support. She calls in stating she has no access to her customer's account and would like us to verify some information like the name that goes with the mobile number, if the account is hotlined or not, or the customer's full name.
Now, we all as reps know this isn't the way Verizon Works. Why would a tech support rep be calling customer service to verify information. ok first of all shes full of it, call centers use acss which can access any account in the nation, they arent market specific like i2k and vision east and west respectivly. and if all else fails net ace can pull up any account in the nation, you just cant get super detailed info and make changes if its out of your market. dont give her any info on any account, and comment any account she calls in asking about so anyone who speaks to her in the future knows not to divulge any info to her.

I get emails about people doing this almost weekly. Unless you have the last 4 or p/w, you can get the balance and pay the bill, that's it for the acct. I'll help you fix your phone if it's not working, but don't even try to double talk me into giving you acct info, not going to work. I've turned down people I know for sure were the account holders becuase they didn't know their password.

yeah, well I've gotten like over 10 calls within the past year from that same person that says she is Tracy Martin..lol. She obviously calls all over the region because I also used to work in the Northeast area. It's amazing how determined she is to get info on someone's account. Everytime she calls in, she wants to know the name and address, etc.
Sounds like a collection agency to me that is using Verizon as a gateway to get personal info.
