WHEN: Samsung SCH-A970 or LG VX-9800

Does anyone know when VzW is scheduled to offer either of these phones?

Anyone insiders have an idea of the price?

Soon, i have seen them on documents as coming soon but haven't seen any dates. I would say next month sometime for the 9800 and the 970 should be popping into infocenter anyday now.

970 before end of october at latest, but if all goes well by 1st week of october.

The release of the 970 is totally dependant on when VZW is completely out of the 670.
