I'm new to these forums and have been here over a week. I have learned a lot that I didn't know about cell phones, plans, and carriers. I've had the pleasure of reading some well-written and thought out posts, as well as some that you really can't do anything but laugh at.

Before discovering this forum, I must admit...I did bitch from time to time about my provider, Verizon. Nothing over the top, (I'm intelligent enough to realize that a cell phone plan is a choice, NOT a requirement!) just your typical griping about costs of plans, phones, and binding contracts.

Problem is, I think it comes down to 2 things. First of all, as many have been pointing out, sense of entitlement in this country is ridiculous. It's absolutely astound...

Thank you. I just ranted about this same entitlement mentality in the thread about Verizon not helping someone until May 6th. What you said is so true.

I had someone in my store yesterday complaining about 40 dollar rate plan and that by now we should have unlimited calling plans for 40.00 (nationwide) and coverage everywhere. I was starting to explain just how far cellular has come and some costs involved but this truck driver interrupted. He talked about the time when he could only get signal at major cities...no where in between...and an average cellular bill was 800 a month! (Truck drivers always can tell you real life use of where it works, where it doesn't, and how much you get for your money now) Needless to say the customer ...

🤣 Yeah. Early signs are that the Pats are not the class of the AFC...but Steeler are looking awesome. Plain and simple...awesome.
