Need you opnions here guys....

I have a customer who purchased 2 phones on 9/10 for him and his wife, he has come in 4 times to exchange his phones and just came back again today, he says he has had problems with all models, I think he is taking advantage of the situation.

-LG 4650 exchanged for camera phone
-LG 6100 exchanged because cant answer with HFree headset on/off buton
-LG 5200 exchanged because volume not loud enough
- Motorola e815 exchanged because "doesnt like the feel" (too big)
-Motorola v276 is what he left with today, hopefull he will keep it

He is running through my stock of phones and its starting to tick me off, the guy is a nice guy but I just think that no matter what I do is going to please him, what i...

All I can say is you win some and you lose some. Hes pretty much tried every phone we offer. Last one would be the 8100, its about the same size as the 815 but its definitely the loudest. If not let him go on his way and see if he can get what he wants else where. We normally will let them try 3 phones in the trial period, then at that point we just shrug and leave it alone. The problem with it is now you have to sell a used phone granted it might be not be much usage but it is used none the less. Good luck and hopefully the 276 will meet his needs.

How about a Jabra C250. This has a push to answer buttom in the boom. It should work with the LG VX6100 without having to flip open the phone. If that was the only reason the 6100 didn't suit his needs, then try that hf headset with the phone...

Yeah, that is the exact headset he is using, tried different headsets and different 6100's the 6100 has to be open for the button to reconize the button, strange but true.

I was under the impression that Verizon's 15 day exchange policy was only to be used 1 time. At lease that is what they always told me when I went in to buy a new phone.

If he is older, I am guessing he just has no clue what he is doing....but I agree....he is taking advantage of you. Give him the 8100....make him pay for it....and then if he isn't happy, you know he won't be happy with anything.

It is to bad the LG8000 is not still available. That phone has loud clear speaker phone, camera, and if you have a headset attached to it, you can answer the phone by pushing the outside middle button on the flip without opening the phone.

I would look at the 8100, I would think that would have come the closest to his needs.

But either way, I think you have done more then enough for this guy. I would think that any more swaps would be used phones, even I can say you have gone out of your way for him, as the other guy said, you might be better off to set him free, I am sure you already have lost most if not all of your profits made on this deal.

Thanks, I think I might just have to tell him that, I have done everything I can for him but some people you just can't please.

I let him test out my 8100 and he said the earpiece volume isn't loud enough for him, he was in the airforce and around a lot of noisy stuff which made his hearing go bad.

Forgot to mention he originallly swapped the 4650 out for the 8910 than went to the 6100.

On top of everything he said "I really dont want to spend me than $50 for a phone"

Sounds like Bluetooth might be the best answer for him.If he is willing to spend the cheese on it.

Tried it on mine, not loud enough. I gave him the Jabra c250 originally to get him to sign up becasue it goes into the ear and has the best sound clarity for him, where as the bluetooth headsets dont fit as well.

I literally have spent hours with him over the past week.

I think there is just no way to make him happy.

You are an authorized agent, can you find him the LG8000, the way you are talking, that sounds like the phone he wants. I know for a fact that the speaker phone outperforms the motorola 815, I have tried them both, and the lg8000 wins hands down for speaker phone performance...well, that is my opinion, I dont want to start a flame war about the 2 phones, as there are bound to be ones that will argue with me, but, if you have an 8000 laying around, have him try that.

I have an 8000, 8100, and 4650 personally but I cant find anymore new 8000's. If I could find one I would put it on my personal line since it is one of my favorite phones of all time, it is just an all around kick ass performer, and the camera is incredible!

At the VZW corporate stores a return or exchange is allowed w/in 15 days of original purchase. The customer must have reciept, box, phone, charger, etc. Only one exchange is allowed according the the policy. As far as a suggestion for which phone he should try next.....(doesn't sound like he'll be happy with anything).....Try the Aud. 8940
