Let's think about this for a second... You have 37 million lines. Multiply that by .40 and you get just under 15 million. Take 15 million and multiply it by 12, and you get just under 180 million. My guess says that Verizon is not worried about losing a few customers $175.00 in leau of 180 Million a year.

I love Verizon and their customer service, but if a few people leave it is not going to break their hearts.

I'd say they should be worried. If only .5% leave due to being dissatisfied about this charge, and the ETF is waived, then they stand to lose 32.4 million. That is not counting the revenue lost per month from the subscription.

I care neither here nor there, and half of a percent might be high, I don't know. But money is money. It is lost revenue either way if the customer leaves, without ETF or with.

I see what you are saying but they would have to lose 148 Million in MRC's before they would be back to even. My guess says this is going to be a nice money maker for them.

I am like you though, I really don't care either way. I am with Verizon for the long hall regardless.
