phone stolen.

i have a the moto e815 and someone stole it...someone from my school. anyway my dad turned the service off so does this mean that someone can change the number?? 😢

still not snswered...im only 15 w/ no job so i couldnt buy anyway but is it possible for some1 to change a number on a turned off phone??

Yes they can turn the phone on. They just will have their number and not yours. Your Dad needs to call Verizon and report it stolen. Get out the paperwork for it that has the ESN on it and tell them its stolen and they will block the ESN on it and the phone can't be activated for anyone. Hopefully you have it insured. $50 to replace it. You will need to get a police report to file the insurance claim.

do you mean powered off or suspended? even if it was suspended they couldnt because the ESN is still tied to your account.
