MyCool's right. Verizon is pretty much kicking everyone else's butt right now, so they probably don't feel the need to tinker with their plans much.
With both Cingular and Sprint-Nextel in the throes of merger & integration problems, and T-Mobile being too small and coverage-sparse to do much damage, I don't think the situation is really going to change much for awhile.
