Okay, this is just me venting a bit, but there is some good info in this post.

I would like to start off by saying, "For the love of $#%#% God!" I had some really bad/annoying people come in today with phone probs. Most of them could have been avoided if people remember a CELL PHONE IS AN ELECTRONIC DEVICE!!! Do not do anything to a cell phone you got for 50.00 on rebate that you wouldn't do to a 5,000 computer, or a TV.

Okay, first off, the physical condition of your phone comes into play VERY heavily when considering if we're going to exchange it. I don't care if it's only 3 months old. If you already have scratches, pit marks, or cracks on it don't bother asking. Even if it has nothing to do with the problem, if it looks like you ha...

amen. i deal with at least 2-3 people a day with these problems. you don't have to crush your flip phone against your head to hear(thus breaking the hinge), i don't care if you could drop your old nokia all the time and it didn't break, and no, you can't get that camera phone for free at any time during your contract just because you did when you signed up. i warn every person to buy the TEC warranty and i make sure they know what the consequences are. can you add car insurance after an accident, can you add health insurance after surgery? no. why would you think you can with ours? do you have to pay a deductible with all your other insurances? yes. why is that so incomprehensible for cell phone insurance? sorry, venting.

The breaking the hinge part I don't get at all anyway. I hold my phone by the top half anyway to avoid this and all the cell phones I've ever owned still work just fine.

Sanyo SCP6000
LG TP 2100
Ericson T68m
Samsung i500
LG VX7000
LG VX8100

The only one I no longer have is the Sanyo and that's because Sprint replaced it with the 2100 because the WAP browser didn't work right.

I paid for all of them so I took care of them. If you notice, none of them have ever been the "GET A FREE PHONE!!!" model...
