it just occurred to me that I don't know the answer to this question....I am eligible to renew at the end of the month. I have a family plan w/ 3 lines total. Does NE2 only apply to the main line, or to all three? (Note: Main line is like 5 years old, other 2 lines have been around for 2 years.)

NE2 only applies to lines 34.99 and higher your additional lines are either $20 or $9.99 which wouldn't qualify. the ne2 hasn't been around for 5 years if you've had any of the recent plans for at least 2 years then you should have no problem qualifying but some of the older plans, 3+ don't have ne2.

They are eligable for promotional pricing as long they meet the contract terms, (10 months into a 1 yr or 22 into a 2 yr)

Shared lines do NOT qualify for NE2! NE2 = a line of service with a price plan of 34.99 or higher for the last 22 months AND no equipment discounts issued towards that line within the time period as well
