My post below, in the IN/voice mail thread, reminded me of a few functions in most VZW voice mail systems that very few customers know how to use.
Did you know that...
Once you have logged into your mailbox and listened to new messages, you can record and send a message to another voice mailbox on the same platform?
Not quite any VZW phone in the country. Usually any VZW phone with voice mail in the same area code. Depends on the size of the market and the voice mail system. Some markets, like Chicago, have many area codes in the same system.
In some areas, this only works if you are calling into your voice mail from your cell phone. And no, the time you are recording the message and sending it willnot bill a...
