Turn recorded or mp3 to ring tone
I want to record a voice or song on my phone then turn to a ring tone like on the 7000. or turn a mp3 into a ring tone. I CAN be done according to the VZN people at the store. anyone know how????

What phone do you have? More than likely if it is one of the newer models you will have to use a program called bitpim along with either a bluetooth usb adapter or usb cable to connect your phone to your pc.

To download Bitpim:

It does not yet support the 9800 unless you do it through the filesystem, which you have to be careful about. It should include it soon, though, as it takes a few weeks after a phone comes out for Bitpim to get it on there.
You can use the same USB cable as is available for the 8100, 7000 or 6100. Ebay is the cheapest place to get it.
