Yah instead of typing a txt message you can speak and the phone will type it out on the screen for you. It will also read your rec. messages to you.

I dont believe cellutions is right in his statement...the phone will read a text to you, but I dont think you can dictate a text to the phone and it let it type it for you...this phone has text to speech, not speech to text...call a vzn store, if u want a second opinion.
