EVDO Coverage
Yesterday I was in Hartford,CT and noticed my Motorola E815 went from 1X to EVDO coverage. I could not send or receive pic messages. As soon as I got back into an area where my phone said 1X I could download my pics. Why is this? EVDO not a pic messaging area? Thanks.

Sorry about that. It happens sometimes with new EV-DO phones. What is happening is that when you got the EV-DO phone, the initial OTA programming did not correctly provision you for data services in EV-DO areas (happens sometimes when the phone is activated in a 1X area instead of EV-DO). Power cycle your phone and attempt to re-provision your data services by dialing *22899 and SEND (no prompts to select, but works the same as standard OTA). If they are still not working after that, contact Tech Support and they will reset your data features so that this wong happen again.
