Possible price drop after new releases?
I'm thinking of buying a LG VX8100 full retail, but I had a quick question that maybe some of you had some info. on or experience with.
I have been reading the forum posts, and it seems that the RAZR and a new Nokia will be coming out within the next month or so, both of which I think will be too expensive for me to consider buying full retail even though they both seem cool.
I really like the 8100 however, and I know it's at about $300 right now. My question is, with the release of those new "high end" phones that will compete with the 8100, do you think there might be a slight price drop in the 8100? I know even if there was, it might not be much, but even $50 would help, and if this might be the case I think I could force myself...

I doubt you will see a fifty dollar price drop anytime soon. The E815 and 8100 are still very new, and still considered flag ships for Vcast

Ok cool, thanks for the input...I guess that's not too bad an answer since now that means I can go buy the phone this weekend and not have to wait til X-Mas! Never been to patient with these sorts of things 🙂

The new Nokia will only be $249 at full retail. That is significantly cheaper than the 8100 at full retail. I would wait a few weeks or a month if I were you.

I'm still thinking there could be something within the next month for the Holidays. I know last year during November the phones took a pretty nice drop in price.

He/She is buying full retail, though, and if there are "great deals" as far as price, it's usually with a plan and the retail price doesn't change.

True, however I always pass on the savings to the customer. Last year the retail for agents also dropped, in return I drop the retail on my end.
