Any opinions???
I've looked at both phones & they seem to have a few more options than the LG6000.
Does any one know of any pros/cons???
Is there a way to DL free ring tones (or wallpaper) for either phone??
I think that I'm "leaning" towards getting the Samsung, but I'm just not sure... 😕
Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Yeeah, if you can afford the 610, why would you ever want the 8900? No question there.

Yeah...there are some websites out there where you can find ringtones and wallpaper for free or a nominal fee. Certainly cheaper than what Verizon charges.

Ditto to muchdrama... I'm using the a610 right now, and I used the 8900 before it. The Audiovox is a nice phone, and the pros are speakerphone (not the greatest) and analog roaming (which I personally don't care about). So anyway... the Samsung has the greatest voice RECOGNITION ever. It doesn't even require programming and you can dial by saying the name of the person in your contact list or by saying the phone number. It's amazingly accurate and very convenient. Some people have been concerned about durability because of the swiveling display, but it seems extremely well built. The other amazing thing about the Samsung is the battery life with the standard battery. I've gotten every bit as much out of it as listed and more. On top ...

On top of it all, the picture quality from the camera is the best of Verizon's three current popular camera phone models.

Not to mention the best screen out of all the Verizon phones...and that includes the LGvx6000. It's definitely the brightest, and I swear the hinge on the swivel function is better than most phones without the swivel function. An excellent phone that I otherwise can't afford. LOL. I'll stick with my Moto Experiment of 2004 (where I'm putting a Moto t730 through its paces to see why everyone hates the damn thing so much...so far so good...it's proven reliable with only one minor problem) and if that proves disastrous I'll just pull my LGvx6000 out of mothballs. Cheers.
