The saga continues, part 2...
Just had an on-line chat with "James" at Verizon, a customer service guy. Apparently, the company is still playing dumb as to when the Nokia 6256i and the Moto Razr will be appearing. I also spoke to my friend, a manager of a Radio Shack outside of Washington, DC, who still has only the "dummy" for the Nokia, nothing on the Motorola, and no indication of when either phone is going to show up.
At this point, my attitude is, when it gets there, it'll be there. I have a bunch of friends who are very anxious for both of these handsets to make their appearance, particularly the Nokia. My best guess is that their marketing department is readying some mammoth promotional campaign, although I have absolutely no knowleddge of s...

How about this... lets all pretend that no one ever said anything about the razr. Lets pretend that we never even heard of it, and when it does come out, we all can be pleasantly surprised! 😉

There's gotta be a better way, but I guess if you don' commit to a release date, you got mo' lattitude to d**k around with the release date, an' maybe that gives you mo' leverage over the phone maker when your negotiatin' things like price, features, cripplin' or not cripplin' BT, usin' o' not usin' the Verizon UI, etc.

I do Now I will be able to put the same ringtones on my Verizon phone as My Cingular phone so I know who's calling. This is a huge step for Verizon and they do not need to do this given Cingular's CEO remarks.
The phone still sucks. But atleast now you can make it ring like your Cingy phone. YAY!
But it would be nice to see it full bluetooth...
