How good is the Samsung a850?
This is the 'deal' phone Verizon is offerin' right now. Does anyone have it? An' do you think it'd be a good option for someone who's tired of waitin' fo' the 6256i or the RAZR?
Right now its a friend who's askin', but I'm leanin' towards joinin up myself so I'm curious too.

If your interested in the 6256i and the Razr, then you wouldn't want this phone. It's like the complete opposite. It's an entry level phone!

I think you're referring the a950, instead of the a850. The a850 is just an entry level phone w/ none of the extras. The a950 is much more close in functionality to the devices you mentioned.

No, I'm talkin' the 850, the one with the speakerphone an' camera but not much else.
My friend's ok with gettin' a nice mid-range phone, he says he don' need all the xtra features on the 6256i (but if its close to the 850 in price he might go there), and he's undecided on whether the RAZR'll be 'cool' enough to spend the xtra green on.
He can go midrange o' Cadillac, he's jus' thinkin' it over. 🙂
