That would be nice, but I'm still happy with verizon 🙂 They seem to be trying to meet every ones needs.

I have seen pictures(hofo) of the box for the Nokia6256i and it shows obex on the box. I also asked a guy selling one on eBay, and he said he tested it and was full Bluetooth. Also a few people on this forum have confirmed full obex. I won't believe it till I see it, but certainly looks pretty positive Mary 😁

I guess you never read my threads , I have 6256i's and yes the Bluetooth is totally open..

I hooked it up to my Pc no problem.

There is no send feature though, so on our lexus we can't upload data..

Open Obex or not does not make these phones sync phonebooks with cars anyway..

Bluetooth sucks period.. If they could not get everyone to play together than they did not do a good job.

It should have been so easy to make the car manuf. all work with this stuff.
