Newe2 and Customer Service

I was just wondering if anybody has seen an increase of customer service renewing customers on 1 yr contracts over the phone and then sending them to a store location to get their newe2? My store is losing approximately 100 renewable sales a month due to this.

Also, if a customer service rep reads this, I'm assuming this is the direction you have been given by your supervisors but what is the reasoning that you've been given for doing this?

A lot of customers want to change their plan right away but then go look at the phone before they buy it.
