Question for call center employees.
Do you guys have sales quotas that you have to hit each month? Like X number of new accitvations, and X number of contract renewals? In addition to you guys track metrics? Like X% of your plans need to be $59+ or X% of data adds? Or how about accessory ratio? Like 2.95 per phone or something like that? Just wondering. Do people get in trouble if they don't meet the goals?

In my region, we are not held to how many upgrades, renewals, or upsells we do. However, we are encouraged to maximize every call with renewals, etc. If we take advantage of a renewal opportunity, we do get paid additional for this on top of our salaries. For example, $2 a renewal or upsell.
Some other incentives are gift certificates to various retail stores or restaurants, or even the top 10 reps for renewals in the center may get an addtn'l 1500.00 or so on their next paycheck for example. Pretty cool for not being Telesales or Retail sales you know.

Telesales are bound by the same rules as retail. Everything is the same... even quota.
