Connected, full strength, no sound

Increasingly, have noticed that Verizon calls will connect (full strength signal) but that there is complete silence after connection is complete (I can't hear other caller, and they can't hear me). Various locations. Also notice more calls dropping with full strength signal. My phone is V60. Other Verizon users are having this intermittent problem, too, with other phones. Had similar problem years ago w/T-Mobile and they said it was tech problems at local cell. They fixed it. Verizon Tech Support has no idea what's going on, or won't say--way underpowered. Always tell me something different, and solution is always extend contract 2 years and we'll give you a new phone. Not sure I want new phone if it won't make any difference and th...

😢 I have an LG VX4400 and I notice the same thing, but I know that in my case for a fact that it is the phone because it never cuts out when i have my headset plugged in. I have also run across issues with this phone where it has full digital signal strength but suddenly switches to analog. I have also been on calls without my headset plugged in and close the phone and the call is still connected. So before I send it into the insurance people I may shoot it and put it out of its misery.
