North Americas Choice
The North Americas choice brochures are a little vague...but from my understanding, basically they only enable you for free long distance to Canada and Mexico. If you're roaming in those areas you're charged 0.69 per minute? The brochure states that you get unlimited DOMESTIC roaming...Does the definition of domestic include all areas outlined on the coverage map? (Canada, US, and Mexico) or does that only cover US with Canada and Mexico being charged roaming?

There are some areas in the United States on the Verizon nationwide plan where roaming is not free. If you are off the network, and you have a flashing triangle on your phone, there is no roaming charge, as I understand it. On the other hand, if you are off the network with a triangle on your phone that DOES NOT FLASH, you will be roaming if you make or take a call. I would guess that Verizon does not have an agreement everywhere with every carrier where they do not. By and large, they do a pretty admirable job in most places. If I am incorrect about this, please let me know. I do some travelling when I'm doing concerts, and so far, I haven't run into a problem.

You are correct about the roaming indicator, but you are incorrect about the plan coverage. The NA Choice plan give you no long distance charges to Canada or Mexico AND also gives you the ability to roam anywhere in Canada and Mexico and have it counted as part of your plan (i.e. no roaming charges withing North America). The only thing to be wary of, though, is that the NA Choice plans only come w/ 1,000 night and weekend and 1,000 M2M minutes, unlike the normal AC plans that are unlimited of both.
