CONFIRMED RAZR PRICE
ouch 😁
The SKU has been loaded in Netace.
2 Year - $499.99
1 Year - $549.99
Full Retail - $619.99
who is buying one 😁
I'm having one NOmatter but damn
Whats funny is... this screen shot has absolutely no reference to the RAZR
If you look at the screenshot, you realize dat he's right. That price could be attached to ANYTHING. There's nothin' in the shot that attaches that price to the RAZR.
Now, maybe the person takin' the screenshot jus' screwed up, an' that really IS da price. In which case, only crazy people will buy the RAZR now, an' everyone else will wait fo' a price drop and/or be really pissed at Motorola an' Verizon.
Bummer of a situation if so, but I'll wait 'till it actually comes out b4 I complain. 'Cus I still don' know the price fo' sure.
Maybe they're thinkin' they can charge the same as that fo' the RAZR 'cus its new to Verizon. If so, I think they're makin' a mistake. Everyone knows the phone's been out fo' a year elsewhere, so they're not gonna really regard it as 'brand new cuttin' edge'. Only the crazies who've been jonesin' fo' it are gonna pay those prices, or the peeps who GOT to have 'the killer Xmas gift'.. everyone else will jus' laugh an' ask Moto an' Verizon what dey been smokin'.
BIG price drop after Christmas after the suckers have been fleeced, I'm thinkin'. 🙂

Outta curiousity, how much was the RAZR when it first showed up fo' Cingular an' T-Mobile? I know it was a lot, but I don' know how much. Anyone remember?

I believe when cingular first released it was 500 with a two year contract. Verizon is nuts!!! I agree, but the bottom line is people will pay 500 to have it.
Some will. Most won't look twice at it, if dat's really the price.
But if Moto n' Verizon don't have a big supply o' them yet, I guess this is the way to go if they wanna make max money. Jus' a lil' disappointin' to the peeps who thought it'd be affordable right off da bat. Again, if these are the prices.

Good points, I agree, I honestly...

Your 100% right, guns. At the alleged prices, without NE2 it makes ZERO sense to get this phone b4 there's a price drop. 😛
Yep, the hell with this razr for right now. I'm still hoping for a friggin miracle and maybe when I go into Best Buys this Sunday they will have the Nokia.
1yr 269.99
retail 319.99
Hope that gives you some what of an idea...Mandy
Can't get into the game now and expect people to pay that kind of premium, it's not a new phone anymore.
Don' hate, bro. If you don' like my postin' style, don' read me. Its that simple.

someone mentioned it in a reply to this thread, just wondering what it is.
someone correct me if I missed something, but the NE2 is verizon way of keeping their existing customer happy by offering them a phone at a NEW CUSTOMER price plus 100 off. BIG SAVINGS
NE2....new every two, thats what I always thought it was, maybe someone will school me.

I think the NE2 and the hundo off is different. Because everytime I go into the store to look at a phone they tell me to wait a bit and I can get 100 dollars off a phone. I think you have to pay something like 35 bucks a year for the new every 2? or whatever it is. I might be thinkin of something else.
u don't have to pay for the NE2,,, if they are telling you to WAIT,,,that means your NE2 must be right around the corner and they are looking out. Just ask them when your phone upgrade(NE2) is available, then you'll now when to hook it up. 😁
im not sure what hundo means 😕

To be specific, the NE2 plan is only for people already on 2 year contracts. Some might make an exception for a first time 1 year contract person, where you get up to $100 instant credit toward the purchase of a new phone. When you take advantage of this offer, you can upgrade 22-24 months into your contract, you will usually pay less than a new customer for a new phone. If the phone you're looking at doesn't have a rebate, and the price is $100 or less, you get the phone free, before sales tax (except for Verizon customers in New Hampshire, Delaware, Oregon, & Montana, where it will truly be free since those states don't have a sales tax.). I didn't include Alaska since Verizon doesn't cover Alaska. Whe

At that rate, I'm gonna vote with my wallet and keep them greenbacks home. Ain't enough bling anymore. After all, it IS an old phone. So now we get it as 'sloppy seconds' 😕 -- and VZW wants top dollar?! I'm going with the Nokia 6256i 😁 and save a bunch. I'll have money left over for other toys! 😎
So, in all, why is everyone so excited about it? For me, it's hardly even worth upgrading from my a670 unless I desperately wanted to use a bluetooth headset.
And the Nokia has full bluetooth. It is not crippled by Verizon.
