Inphonic vs. VzW
Excuse me if this has been asked about the 6256i, but I lost track about 52 threads ago:
the price for the 6256i on inphonic is $129.99 w/ a 2 year contract.

what can the expected price be directly through VzW? What rebates or discounts does inphonic do that would detract from the actual price?

First, The 6256i is an "AGENT ONLY" ph meaning that corporate stores nor the Vzw website will have it. We are suppose to receive shipment this Tuesday the price set right now is 149.99 w a $50 mail in rebate for a 2yr 179.99 w a $50 mir for a 1yr and I doubt we will sell them full retail.

What if I just want to upgrade my 3589i to 6256i while keeping my current VZW number? Can inphonic do that for me? And if yes, what would be the terms, like 1-year or 2-year renewed contracts? Thanks.

I'm not sure if inphonic can upgrade you or not but any authorized agent can. What area do you live in???

I'm in Albany, NY. I don't think any of my local agents has 6256i yet, that's why I am looking online... Any recommendation? 🙂

Actually, Like I said we are suppose to get shipment on Tuesday. Check Bestbuy or Radio Shack. But I belevie all of the mid west area is waiting till this week

Inphonic can't upgrade you as i already tried that route. I called Verizon and they actually called Inphonic and tried to get me the phone and couldn't do it. Supposedly Best Buy was getting them today, but i called and they said they didnt have them. How can i find an agent that has them?
