verizon wireless Global Phone rent help needed
When u rent a GSM phone from verizon wireless when u want to travel(as verizon is CDMA and doesn't work in many countries), how long after placing ur order online for a verizon wireless loan phone does it get delivered to u?????

I too rented a phone to take to europe for a couple of weeks. It was a year ago, but I venture to guess it took three to 4 days at the most. The phone is being delivered from Europe or atleast it was last year. The GSM rent phone is a pretty good idea, but pricey.

How important is it to keep your Verizon number while travelling?
For the cost you can rent once you are there and pay much less that U.S. carriers charge for rental and roaming.
If you need your number then of course renting from Verizon is the only option.
