Is VZW expanding into Alltel-only territory?
On Verizon's website, there is a county nearby, Guernsey in Ohio, that was never in a Verizon Wireless market and now it appears that there is service from VZW now, according to the coverage map online. And the city i'm mentioning is Cambridge.
This is an area that Alltel serviced, so does this mean that Verizon is expanding into Alltel's region in east Ohio and the northern West Virginia panhandle along I-70?
It looks like there is some expansion along that major interstate, hopefully they keep moving eastward if this is the case.

Good God, I HOPE so. The Charlottesville, VA area is completely surrounded by Verizon...as far south as Warrenton, as far west as Waynesboro, as far south as Lexington, and as far east as Louisa, out of the Richmond market. I believe it's not a matter of if, but WHEN. And the sooner, the better.
