Ringtones on nokia 6256i
Does anybody that has this phone have the ability to download ringtones with get it now. The only app for ringtones that is showing up is mastones.

I don't have it, nor do I want it, but I can tell you from being a Verizon customer for over 6 years and having a new phone at least 4 times that, that all new phones have very little GIN applications in any category but after a litte while more will keep showing up, so keep checking back on your phone and you should see new ones soon.

Well I don't have it either but I know somebody who does. They were asking me that question. I have had 4 or 5 different phones in the past 4 years and I know not much is on there to start with but there are always at least a couple. This phone has lots of games just no ringtones yet. So to repeat my original question for anybody that actually has this phone can you get other ringtones?

I got the 6256i, an' yeah, only Masttones is showin' up fo' me right now. Buh-lah. 😛
I got no doubt mo' ringtones'll be showin' up soon tho', 'cus Verizon does want us to d-load 'em an' pay the $1.99 a pop. Jus' wish they would stop draggin' ass onnit. Most of the built-in Nokia rings are weird as hell.

I'm sure more ring tones are on the way like you stated Shock. I'm still having fun just trying to figure out how to bypass the verizon set as ring tone block. I thought I did last night, but was wrong. The phone is so new no one on HoFo has got the answer yet ether. I'm having a lot of fun with the blue tooth. The stock ring tones are wired, but in a fun way 🙂

cool, i figured there were no other ringtone apps on there yet but wanted to make sure. Let me know if you get past the set as ring tone block. My co-worker that has the phone has tried and has no idea how to get around it. Have either of you bought a memory card and tried to play mp3's yet. Just curious how it sounds if you have.
