Blackberry vs. Treo 650
I am looking into getting a PDA/Phone for my Dad for Christmas but was wondering which one is better to get. My dad only needs the phone, calander, address book, and note taking functions all the other stuff is just extra. Does anyone who has used either or both of these have any opinions on which one is better?

I would go with the Treo 650 as the Blackberry is used primarily for email and IMHO is awful when being used as a phone. Treo 650 will be easier to use and will perform better as a phone.

i think the note taking and interface in general of the treo is better. and it has better call clarity i think.

Which bberry model is coming out for verizon? One of the ones that has more of a phone profile rather than the traditional boxy one?
