Buy Online / Exchange In Person ???

Does anyone know: If I purchase a phone online from VZW, am I able to exchange it in person at my local VZW store, if necessary (or do I have to send it back in to VZW Online)?

Depending if your local store is a direct or indirect dealer. To exchange the phone it would have to be a direct dealer.
