1500 cingy minutes for 50 Bucks!

I usually don't talk about cingy unless I'm hacking on them 😳 , but there is no denying 1500 min for 50bucks is an outstanding deal even on the cingy network. I wonder what verizon has going on as a promo or in this case are they just going to let cingy promo ride. What do you guys think?

By the way, if you are talking about the plan at $49.99 100 anytime/free n&w, then let me let you know that T-Mobile has it as well. Wouldn't want your information to necessarily be "one sided" or "incomplete". T-Mobile also has a similar plan without the free n&w at $39.99 too.

And as far a Cingy having rollover (and play dead) minutes (lol), yeah I know already that this is the major difference but a...

Yeah, but first off, we don' know that Cingular is gonna really offer that plan. The only evidence I seen so far is from an "unofficial weblog". Humkay, that ain' solid.

On the other hand, Cing is probably desperate enough right now to do it, least fo' the holidays. Their quarter results were pretty awful, even T-Mobile beat 'em in customer adds.

Second, if they did do it, I'd think that there's a better than even chance Verizon'd do what theyve done whenever Cing has dropped prices/increased minutes.. match 'em.

I'm hopin' Cingular DOES offer a 'firesale' plan, 'cus if Verizon matches, I might switch plans to the Verizon promo an' make out like a bandit. Guess we'll see come Black Friday. 🙂

Your bashing of Cingular and "Always Troublesome & Tedious" is what I was talking about, son. I have had nothing but good experiences with both Company's service.

You claim that Cingular's voice quality is horrible, yet you claim no experience to back this up. I have both Verizon AND Cingular service currently and I must say that Cingular's voice quality is far better than Cingular's. Now, data, that's another story. VZW is far beyond Cingular on that one.

And telling me to "continue life as a spectator in this forum"....Please. I have been more active in this forum than you have ever been. 🙄 And, by the looks of your prior rant, a more credible one too.

I was with AT&T for years until I had a billing problem. Nightmare to fix something simple. Their service in my area was fine, so there wasn't a motivation to switch until the fourth time I had to call customer service. Then I switched to VZW and have been fine since. I don't care about what buckets of minutes T-Mobile or Cingular offers, I won't go back to either of them. I couldn't cross the street (any street it seemed) without dropping a call on Tmobile, so the extra minutes were just advanced compensation for my trouble. And Cingular & AT&T have such miserable customer service 95% of the time I can't trust them to handle my account. I had to double check everything they did and fix it in a second or third call.
