On the Nokia website, I can order 3 6256i's for $150 w/ a 2yr agreement.........BUT, there is an $85 activation fee associated. I am not asking if I can have this waived, but I do want to know if it applies to someone who already has a contract and is renewing.

It doesn't apply to any existing customer, but phone pricing may be a bit higher....

if u are a verizon customer u would not pay another activation fee, but if you order it through nokias website you will pay nokia and activation fee for adding your phones to your plans. it would be best to go through a verizon store if you are already a customer.

if you do it through nokia they will setup a new contract for you through verizon which is why you will pay the activation fee.

If you're getting 3 phones on a shared plan w/ a two year contract the activation fees (assuming these numbers are new)
1st line 35
2nd line 25
3rd line 25

Totaling 85

They aren't doing new lines. On upgrades they shouldn't have any activation fees...however some sites only do new lines. If you are an existing customer and they do these as new and have you cancel yours, then they are committing false churn. This is fraud against their agent agreements with Verizon Wireless.
