At least from here I can't get to Verizon's site. It appears to be down. Can't even ping it at this point. I guess they are getting hammered with people looking for this phone. If it ever arrives.

Its back up, and guess what... no v710 or any new phone for that matter.
Let me ask all of you a question, what the hell is Verizon trying to accomplish by fanning the flames of rumors. Why isnt there a centralized region on that web site that posts the proress of which phones are in testing and there anticipated release date.
Dont get me wrong this site is great for a number of things, but accurate information is not one of them.
It would be nice to hear things from the horses mouth, and not the other orifices regarding anything new, including policy changes.
But those are my two cents

The site is back up... The big change is that now VZW charges a $15.00 activation fee for a 2 year contact instead of waving the activation...

🙄

Stop being a phone whore you no-pay upgrade. A new phone will be released when it gets released, okay? Just shut up and wait like the rest of us born with patience.
