Nokia Flip

I understand from a VZW Store Manager, who handles my account that the Nokia Flip will be available in the Chicago Market. Any feedback on phone and/or availability date?

Don't want to find old thread. 🙄

Thanks

Why bother with the Verizon store at all? Radio Shack has a great deal on the Nokia 6256i. The retail price is $300, and on a new 2-year contract, the price is $100. Who needs the NE2? In some markets, there is an additional $50 MIR. It is my understanding Verizon gives you a 15 day grace period to check out the product before you must decide which phone you use. Unless something has changed radically at RS, the rule is 30 days. Now, go on the RS site to see what stores actually have the Nokia, but it seems to me the Verizon company stores are really dragging their feet on this one. I get a distinct impression they really don't want to sell Nokia at all. Fine, as long as they're available somehow, live and let live.

How well will that work when RS isn't selling Verizon next year?

I got one, an' its a very good phone, if a bit clunky-lookin'. You can get it at Best Buy an' at some Radio Shacks.

Check out the 6256 forum an' user reviews fo' all the info you'd want on it.
