Nokia 6256I Stripped?
Bluetooth
Infrared
USB data transfer (this last choice is grayed out, i guess 'til you connect a cable up to the phone)
On the games, I don' know, haven't looked, 'cus cellphone games r a joke to me (prefer Gameboy Advance).
Wallpapers.. I got only 2 jus' like you, plus some dumb 'clip art'. Got 'round it pretty easily though.. jus' took a beautiful pic o' the ocean, set it as my wallpaper. Done.
There's also a site i saw where you can download some simple 'gradient' wallpapers fo' the 6256.. guess it depends on yo' taste whether you like 'em:

Have yo used the infared? It's on mine but when I tried to use it it would not connect. I called Verizon tech and they told me I had to use a cable.
Haven't used it. Don' really have anything I'd use it with.. my el cheapo laptop an' printer don' have infrared.
I'd call Nokia, not VZW tech. Its a new phone, an' not carried by Verizon corp stores.. Nokia'd probably know more 'bout it.

Infrared worked flawlessly without a cable for me - downloaded contacts.

So its confirmed it does work. Good ta know, since eventually I may get an infrared device.
Go to --> Options --> Select options --> Games
Now if you found games then you just do the following to play games
Go to --> games
and thats it, When I say "Go to" I mean the option on the home screen. On the Alltel Version the soft key on the left is the "Go to" button. Hope this helps, if not there then they disabled it.

They stripped it. I can't get the infrared to work either.
Sounds like you got a bad phone - no reason it would be stripped.
