Please Help. Need Help getting around one-bill to Purchase a Razor.

Hello, this is my first post here. I have been a long time reader and have never really had to post. I love the site and hope I can get some assistance. Im trying to purchase a Razor phone for my gf for xmas. With my mothers line so that I can get the 2 year upgrade. So I proceeded to order online no dice, the account is locked. I called and there giving me **** because my account is a one bill account telling me I cant order the phone till the 12th. Is there anyway around this the supervisor I spoke to was no help. And I alreay told my gf I ordered it. 🤭

You said your getting it for Christmas, the 12th is well before Christmas, it will definatly be here in time.

True but im in ny and there is a big waiting list already at local stores. My gf works part time at a CC (Circuit City) and there are litteraly 25 people on that list waiting. I need to find a way to gurantee getting the phone and at 2 year pricing. â˜šī¸

You don't have to get it from the store locations. If all of the stores in your area are sold out when it comes out, just call customer service and place the order through them. Some stores may even be nice enough to place the order in store for you instead of having to call CS. Sure, you will have to wait an extra day unless you get the overnight shipping, but it is the same principle as upgrading online AND YOU WILL STILL HAVE IT BY CHRISTMAS... sheesh.

Sorry buddy, but that is one of the condiditons of being a Onebill subscriber, you do not have access to your VZW online account due to complications with billing. No amount of whining or griping that you do to a supervisor (or anyone in VZW for that matter) is going to change that. Sorry for your luck, but you'll just have to wait another couple of days until it is available in retail channels. Patience is a virture. Don't worry, you'll still have it in plenty of time for Christmas. Sheesh...

From a customer service perspective, OneBill is not worth the $5.00 savings for cell service- or whatever it is these days.
OneBill is all through VZ Communications.... They delegate the money you pay to VZ Wireless. Heaven forbid you run into hardships and can't pay the 1Bill- both lines of communication will be cut.
It also makes paying your wireless independently impossible, and upgrades a pain. I hate telling customers I can't help them because VZ communications is essentially in charge of their account. Drop it if it is that much of an issue for you. It may not help your deadline, but at least it may help in the future.
