Verizon Reps - Need Info On Who To Contact

Back in August I made contact with a Verizon Rep who handled discounts for USG employees (I was a State Department Retired Foreign Service Officer and he informed me that I qualified for the discount) - at that time I purchased two LG 8100s that were heavily discounted and my Verizon plan was set up with an 18% discount. After a week we returned the phones because of the problems we were having with them - we informed Verizon that we would wait until some better phones were released and then we would come back in. They told us our account would remain for six months.

Since we're ready to jump back in - I called this rep today but his message indicated he is no longer with Verizon. I am just wondering who I might call (other than custom...

Try this number....
800-711-7773 option 3.

That is the number I usually give customers to follow up on their discount being applied. They may be able to steer you in the right direction.

Ask a customer service rep to have a BSC rep help you find a sales person. They are good at helping find one. Although, unless I misunderstood, you are retired, yes? Verizon wireless does not usually extend its employee discounts to retirees. Doesn't hurt tpo ask though.

certain situations will let retirees get discounts, talk to the business cust svc reps, they deal only with these types of situations. all accounts stay in the system so your old rep should have commented everything he told you, so whatever rep picks up the situation should be able to read up on whatever was going on and handle it from here.

Try 202-494-2474 or call 800-922-0204 and tell that you need to speak to someone about corporate discount information.
