my review of several phone companies...

I've been browsing these forums for some time now, and everybody seems to be asking the same questions regarding which phone company makes more reliable phones, better reception, longer battery life, and overall good customer feedback.. I've worked for three of the largest wireless carriers over the past 5 years, and currently working for the largest (take a guess), so I thought I'd give a quick review of which phones are worth buying, and which ones aren't.

Nokias- usually have the longest standby time, and above average reception. downside is that the screens tend to deteriorate over time more so than other phones.

LG- IMO, the best company out there right now- battery life is great, reception (even with their all-digital phones) is ...

The overview helps, Thanks. I a 50 year old trend to like the Audiovox because I have become accustom to the mental layout and organization of their phones. I recognize there are probably better choices out there, and knowing that I opt the way I do. Sometimes age has it's disadvantages.

Might I add about the Kyocera;
I have found that they have the simplest learning curve & tend to be the easiest to navigate the menus on. These are great choices for the first-time cell phone user.

thats true. for example the Kyocera 7135 is easier to navigate through than most of the other smart phones because of the touch-screen and graffiti screen.

i think everyone would agree that LG is #1 though, hands down. consumer reports also agrees.

At least on Verizon they are. Ever tried out the 1010 or 1200 for Sprint?

That's why I mentioned the LG 5350 (an older Sprint phone). Some phones just don't get tested enough before hitting the market. Which may be the case with most of Sprint PCS's LGs.

That's why I mentioned the LG 5350 (an older Sprint phone). Some phones just don't get tested enough before hitting the market. Which may be the case with most of Sprint PCS's LGs.
