I am sad and disappointed that what I presume was a reputable board like phonescoop, actually censors, edits, deletes what they do not see fit.

I have been an observer for a long time of this board. I have seen stuff that I thought was immature childish but never got banned. I come here for info and knowledge but I must say I was very disappointed by what transpired.

Not many forums exist where you can express yourself without fear of reprisals. The question was of Verizon Wireless nature. It asked if Fox was going to attack Verizon Wireless for not allowing their reps to say Merry Christmas. I am not christian or atheist but I think a tradition is a tradition.

I guess phonescoop has stooped down the same path as the right w...

Take it to the lounge forum.

They didn't ban your post, it was removed because it decayed into anything but Verizon related.

no matter what the intent of your post was it turned into a religious crap debate. This site is very easy going on what is moderated. We are here for cell talk not Santa talk. FYI if you posted that in the lounge it would still be there.

I work for verizon and I can tell you that many times customers will either ignore you or simply hang up if you wish them a merry christmas. That's right. They do not like it and like some americans will try to probabily sue Verizon Wireless in some way.

hey, they made a pretty penny off of moral fiber. and don't forget, Big Business only bought our sence of holiday spirit because we sold it to them for low, low holiday discount prices available only from 5am-7:30am this saturday.

Rudolph was created for Montgomery Ward in 1939. Aside from Santa, he's probably the largest Christmas icon. Coke put Santa in their ads in the 20's. Don't try to make it sound like "big business" came along anytime recently and ruined your life.

In cell phone related news, I might get a Christmas ringback tone

Go ahead and hook it up, VA!

I put 2 ringback tones on mine and I have it on my "Christmas" jukebox. I only wanted to cough up $2 for songs I'm just going to play for a month so I only put two on there.

I must agree with the others that have already responded to you. The initial post you made was Verizon related, but it went heavily into a political discussion having zero to do with Verizon and while I was interested in that discussion as well, I cannot blame the moderators for removing it once it was clear it was no longer a discussion having anything to do with Verizon (or wireless for that matter).
